Our Youth Hub is a welcoming space designed to support young people who are NEET up to the age of 19, or 25 if they have an EHCP, who are care experienced up to the age of 25, or who are known to the Edge of Care Service, but may be accessed by other young people who are reaching out for support.
The Hub is open for drop-in support every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm
Young people don't need to have a specific appointment or problem to come along. They can drop in for advice, practical help, access to resources, or simply to have a safe and welcoming place to meet with an adviser and find out what support is available, including:
• Access a computer and the internet
• Print letters, CVs and other important documents
• Get help with CVs, applications and accessing opportunities
• Find information and links to other services that can support them
• Use the kitchen to develop and practise independent living and cooking skills
• Access emergency household supplies and practical resources, such as washing powder and cleaning products
• Get advice, guidance and signposting when you're not sure where to go for help
• Money & budgeting
• Mental health and emotional wellbeing
• Independent living skills
